Engineered for real riding conditions
The VEGA uses a waterproof, windproof and breathable ReissaⓇ membrane (meeting strict IPX7 EU standards). Unlike a coated outer fabric that repels light rain but saturates over time, the Reissa® membrane is a separate bonded layer inside the jacket that maintains its waterproofing across sustained rain. It is breathable, which means moisture from your body escapes outward while rain can not enter, keeping you dry from both directions. The detachable inner lining adds welcome warmth for colder days and can be removed when temperatures rise.

Certified protection without the bulk
CE AA is the second-highest protection rating under the EN 17092 European standard for motorcycle clothing, one step below AAA, which is designed for track racing. For road riding, commuting and touring, AA offers the best balance of protection and wearability. Level 2 armour transmits significantly less impact force to your body than Level 1, and the VEGA includes Level 2 lightweight FanomⓇ protectors at the elbows, shoulders and back as standard.

CE AA is the second-highest protection rating under EN 17092, the European standard for motorcycle clothing. It means the jacket’s outer shell has been independently tested and certified to withstand higher levels of abrasion, impact, tearing, and seam stress than a Class A garment. For road riding, commuting, weekend rides, touring, AA is the recommended minimum. The VEGA also includes Level 2 Fanom®️ armour at the elbows, shoulders and back. Level 2 protectors absorb significantly more impact force than Level 1, transmitting less energy to your body in a fall. The VEGA uses a Reissa® bonded waterproof membrane, not a surface coating. The difference matters on a real ride. A coated outer fabric repels light rain initially but saturates over time, especially at seams and cuffs. A bonded membrane like Reissa® is a separate layer inside the jacket construction that maintains its waterproofing across sustained rain. It is also breathable: moisture from your body can escape outward, while rain cannot enter from outside. And windproof, so it doesn’t let cold air get to you. The jacket meets IPX7 waterproofing standards. For a rain shower on the way to work or a nice week-end ride out, it performs reliably.
Use the size chart included on this page and measure yourself in four places: chest (around the fullest point), waist (at your natural waist, not your jeans waistband), hips (around the fullest point, approximately 20 cm below the waist), and arm length (from shoulder to wrist). Compare your measurements directly to the chart, do not rely on your usual clothing size, as motorcycle jackets are cut differently. If you fall between sizes, consider your riding position: a more forward-leaning position on a sportsbike favours sizing up in the torso; an upright touring position generally works at your standard size. A coffee stop, a walk, an evening out on a road trip. The silhouette is designed to work in both contexts: the diagonal front zip and clean lines read as outerwear, not as motorcycle gear. The burgundy colourway in particular crosses easily into everyday use.
The price reflects what it costs to build a jacket that genuinely meets CE AA certification with Level 2 armour, uses a bonded waterproof membrane rather than a surface coating, carries a 2-year warranty, and is cut specifically for the female riding position rather than adapted from a men’s pattern. The perfect motorcycle jacket. The right combination of quality, style, comfort and safety. I’ve been riding a motorbike for 10 years and, for the first time, I’ve managed to find a piece of motorcycle clothing designed for the female physique! The practicality of the pockets, the quality of the fabric and zips, the numerous protective pads (present but not uncomfortable, even on the back!) and the fit of the jacket itself are just some of the highlights of this garment.
