The Urban Elegance is designed in one universal size that fits all head sizes. The fabric is lightweight and close-fitting enough not to affect helmet fit in most cases, though individual fit can vary depending on helmet type and interior volume. Two flat seams run the full length on both sides to minimise pressure points. If your helmet already fits close to your head without a liner, we recommend wearing it on a short ride first to check comfort before a longer journey.
The Urban Elegance holds two independent certifications: Bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100. Bluesign® confirms the fabric was produced sustainably, with harmful chemicals eliminated at every stage of manufacturing. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 confirms that every component, fabric, thread, and trim, has been tested and is safe for prolonged skin contact. This matters for riders who wear their balaclava on long rides, in warm conditions, or have sensitive skin. Both standards are audited by independent bodies.
The Urban Elegance is machine washable. We recommend the sports or delicates cycle at 30°C. The care instructions are embedded directly into the fabric using sublimation printing, so the label causes no irritation and will not fade with regular washing. The balaclava comes with its own small garment bag, which doubles as a carry pouch for a jacket pocket. With regular care, the fabric maintains its shape and performance wash after wash. All Linda-Jean products carry a two-year warranty.

About a month ago, I rode my motorcycle in temperatures over 30 degrees. The warmer it got, the more I sweated all over my body, which was quite uncomfortable.
